In partnership with Yellow Iron and Taylor Rail, MC Earthmoving delivered a complete turnkey solution for the Tronox Rail Siding in Ivanhoe, NSW. This critical infrastructure connects to the Broken Hill-Orange Railway and facilitates the transport of ore concentrates for Tronox’s mining operations in Southwest New South Wales.
The project included the construction of rail siding, hardstands, stockpiles, and access roads. Despite the challenges of the Victorian COVID-19 lockdown, including navigating interstate border restrictions and unseasonably wet weather, the joint venture successfully delivered the project and ensured seamless integration into Tronox’s operations.
